RCMP tell us it's the first time in a long time Dempster has been a washout in the summer. Not once but twice. Disappointing news for us... we decide to cut our losses and head to Dawson City, Yukon to dry out.
Too bad the weather didn't cooperate, the Dempster scenery is absolutely unbelievable. I lived in the Yukon for many years & worked up at Eagle Plains. Try again, you won't be disappointed. Now living in Alberta & watch you every evening. Gloria
